Corey's squadron had a BBQ at the base beach today. Our friends' cute little daughters had fun playing in the water.

Ugh, the weather is disgusting. I'm fairly convinced Misawa is sitting in some kind of global crock pot, just simmering away. It's currently in the mid-80's with humidity at 80%. 80%!!! There have been thunderstorms all week too. I'm tired of being damp and sticky.

August 31st

This is not an exciting picture, but just one I took today with my new Tokina wide-angle lens. I picked it because it introduced me to the problem of chromatic aberration, so I got to learn about that and how to fix it in post-processing. Wish I had learned about it before buying the wide angle, but hey... so goes the learning process. It's still a cool lens.
